Troy M. Powers

Troy M. Powers, O.D. is the owner of our practice. In 2020, Dr. Powers will celebrate his 29th year of caring for the visual needs of the patients in our office. Dr. Powers completed his undergraduate studies at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA in 1987.

Erin K. Peterson

Erin K.Petersen, O.D. is originally from Bismarck, ND. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of North Dakota and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Indiana University.

Caitlin N. Heggestad

Dr. Heggestad grew up in Cambridge, MN and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2015. Dr. Heggestad worked for several years in Rochester, MN before moving back to her favorite city, Duluth.

We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility.

Our staff has taken steps to prepare you for the first appointment by providing a full spectrum of the services we offer and the option to complete our new patient form prior to your visit. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.
